Prayer Ministries
|
Discovery believes that prayer is foundational in the life of the church; all activities, decisions, and
directions that we move forward in need to be bathed in prayer to God, seeking His leadership through
the Holy Spirit.
Discovery also believes we are to pray for others. 1 Timothy 2:1-4 states: "I urge, then, first of all,
that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone -- for kings and all those in
authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good,
and pleases God our Savior, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth."
We meet at the following times to support our church, people, community, missions, and others in a
regular time of committed prayer. Please come and join us in this vital and important ministry.
